We need to research and find new technologies that give us the ability to make new jobs. There are new chemicals that can help prevent heart attacks, help lose weight, and increase longevity just from studying one type of boa constrictor. we can build space factories that can produce products that can't be made on earth. But I am down to earth and know it has to be cost effective; the point is we can invest in research that will give us a competitive advantage, we must invest of be left behind.
